Butterfly Garden takes off

The Butterfly garden is slowly taking shape.  At Zone C is located two lawns that are planted with many butterfly-loving species.  Around both lawns are seen low shrubs and herbs and more suitable species will be added soon. The lawns are wide enough to provide convenience of movement in order to watch and photograph the butterflies.  Below are examples of plant species that are already onsite.  I have also included pictures with more views of the garden lawn.

Senduduk (Malay) - Melastoma malabathricum

Cat's whiskers - Orthosiphon aristatus

Clerodendrum x speciosum
Seribu Bahasa (Berawan) - Centratherum punctatum

Pagoda flower - Clerodendrum paniculatum

Orange ixora - Ixora coccinea

Canna hybrid
