Flowering in yellow hues

Heliconia 'Golden Torch' planted in long beds

Heliconia 'Golden Torch'
Yellow is colour of opportunity.  Like the Heliconia 'Golden Torch', its bright yellow bracts rises up to the occasion with promises of a golden opportunity.  The composite flowers of the Yellow Creeping Daisy (Wedelia trilobata) are beautiful for ground covers with little maintenance but giving daily rewards of cute little flowers.  Good thing about the Simpoh Air (Dillenia suffructicosa) is that it has large flowers that attract many birds and bees.  The Yellow Ixora (Ixora coccinea) has great appeal to the Little Spiderhunter which sources nectar from its long style.  The Common Neuweidia (Neuweidia veratrifolia) despite its name is not common anymore.  There is this tall jungle tree species that is crowned with fine yellow flowers with an added value, the flowers are mildly scented.
